Nida Fazli Poetry - A Declaration
In the world of the temples and the mosques
People know me not;
I come here in the shape of the moon every night
And during the day, in the form of the sun
I shine in the ornaments of the mothers
And smile gently through the sisters,
I am present in the sweat of the workers
And also present in the rainy season,
My speech brings tears to the eye
My writings cast a spell on men and women.
But in the world of the temples and the mosques
When people know me not,
I plunge this world into darkness
And to the skies return-
In the form of God then, this world I burn.
